Letizia Barco founded the business in 1967, and it is her vision and business acumen that has provided the focus for the firm to become a leader in the field. 

She graduated at Footscray Technical College, and was the first woman to graduate at the college in the accounting field, demonstrating her determination and focus. 

Letizia drives the business forwards with her willingness to embrace change through technology and continuous improvement.

Barco & Associates is a leading mid-tier accounting firm, large enough to have all the accounting experience and knowledge, yet small enough to work with you on a personal basis.

The business commenced in 1967 to assist small to medium sized companies compile their tax returns. In 2000 with the introduction of the GST we were instrumental in providing simple GST solutions to our clients.

We continue to improve our processes and today we have developed an internet based software solution, TQMSWeb, using state of the arts technology. Our team of professionals are here to assist you in every aspect of your accountancy and IT needs.
